Social Media Is Not Good For Business?

In 2017, lots of people are on social media in one place or another. With so many people hanging out on social media, then it is obvious that some of them could be your potential customers.

"47% of all online time is spent on social media"

I often hear that social media is not relatd to business growth. I disagree. With so many people on social media, it is obvious that some of hem could be your potential customers - why is this so hard to believe?

I meet lots of people that tell me they aren't on social media - surely they have watched something on Youtube before?

Let's face it, all social media traffic are humans and incidentally, they are consumers.

Hypothetically, if I was in the market to buy a new car, I wouldn't try to find a new car on social media but I don't stop being a new car buying prospect if I log on to facebook for a scroll - my head is just in a different space at that moment in time.

Depending on the product or service, lots of businesses can convert traffic into leads on social media channels . Perhaps the strategy is to engage potnetial customers and steer them to you website for conversion.

In my opinion, if you are in business, it is of great value to at least consider using it.

The below infographic provides some up to date insights and statistics as to what channel people are hanging out.
