Is there a way to eliminate cold calling?

is-there-a-way-to-eliminate

Cold calling alternatives, or complete elimination of the dark art, are like some mythical and unreachable panacea to most Marketing Managers.

Sales staff absolutely hates cold calling, and the person or team in marketing that hands over the leads must feel they are providing a bucket of confetti in a strong wind, such is the percentage of return and control it gives you.

The difficulty with this activity is making a connection with your targets. It is near impossible to get past the very first email, phone call or mailout purely because you are a total stranger walking up to a locked door. Hence the percentages are so very low.

While I can’t claim to provide the definitive answer to cold calling tips right here and now, I can genuinely declare that a little bit of knowledge on how it should be done in the modern, technological era and the outcomes you should visualise will give you an insight into why it is so completely different to what you ever knew.

If as a marketing Manager you set it up so that your Sales and Marketing teams worked in a teamwork loop which you can manage from a single dashboard, you will almost certainly find that cold calls begin to be replaced by what is commonly now referred to as ‘swarm leads’.

Basically, the new style of marketing is highly affordable, less mysterious than old fashioned advertising, and it opens doors well before your first point of contact with a chosen party.

But learn a bit first. Take it step by step and form your own ideas. If you like, have a read of our e-book on this very issue which outlines 9 important steps to consider in how cold calling can be eliminated and replaced by something so logical which can take you globally.
