Will marketing automation work for my business?

Of course marketing automation will work for your business! Mostly,  automation does what humans can do, just way more efficiently. Marketing automation ensures that you are goal oriented and will deliver thoroughness and consistency with your marketing campaigns.

We have used many marketing automation platforms such as Infusionsoft, MailChimp, Magento and Pardot but our preferred platform is HubSpot.  HubSpot offers much more than many other platforms that are available. 

During an initial consultation, we can determine which marketing platform will work best for your business and specific budget and objectives.

What is Inbound marketing and methodology?

Inbound marketing is an approach focused on attracting customers through educational content and compelling interactions that are relevant and helpful — not interruptive. With inbound marketing, potential customers find you through channels like blogs, search engines, and social media — unlike outbound marketing, which fights for their attention.

Is print advertising still relevant?

Whether print advertising is relevant or not, depends on what you are trying to achieve. From some perspectives, print advertising is dead and from other perspectives it still holds relevance.

Print advertising is a good medium for certain objectives such as; brand awareness, market share, force multiplication and specifically broad goals.

Generally speaking though, print advertising has lost a lot of relevance compared to times past. I say this in recognition to the change in the way people buy. The advent of the internet has changed everything and historically companies that didn’t embrace changes in the way we live, have suffered.

This first thing buyers do when they need to purchase something is ‘search the internet’. The power has shifted from being in the seller’s hands, to being in the buyer’s hands.

A good example of this is that we were recently working with a major automotive dealership that observed that their customers walked in with more knowledge about their vehicles than their sales team. Interestingly though, a sales team member needs detailed knowledge on a whole range of cars, whereas a customer (vehicle buyer) only needs detailed knowledge on the specific vehicles they are interested in purchasing.

Will having a marketing platform work if I am in a B2B type business?

Yes, having a marketing platform will work for a B2B type business. Marketing platforms will work on all business types - we even use a platform for some ‘not for profit’ type organisations with great results.

Caveat Emptor - not all marketing platforms are created equal.

A market leader is a company that has the largest market share in their industry, and which can use its dominance to affect the competitive landscape and direction the market takes. Such companies may be the first to develop a product or service. This allows them to set the tone for messaging, define what the ideal product characteristics are, and to become engrained in the public eye as the brand that consumers associate with the product itself.

This generally equates to having a level of transparency about your product or service - albeit, measured transparency. This transparency can be achieved with remarkable content. Market leaders are also generally thought leaders and offer their industry educational value.

I am struggling to create content for my website and blog - can you help?

Creating remarkable content is a skill that can be developed. We encourage all people to blog in regard to business. At first it is daunting but with some help and coaching most are surprised at their abilities. It is common place to find the best subject matter lies within a companies team members.

Alternatively, we have a content team that can author your content for you - either entirely or supplementary to your own content contributions.

In regard to website content it is critical to get it right and lots of skill, training and tools are employed to achieve the desired outcomes.

Um…...yes you do - you just haven’t been tuning in to it.

By tracking the traffic that frequents your website, we can gain valuable insights into what visitors like to browse on your website and whether they find it informative and whether the content 'actually' solved the pain point of the reader.
